Twenty-five families in Ufa have received the keys from new apartments

This year was marked in Bashkortostan as the Year of the social support for the family. Yesterday, as Bashinform agency informs, one of the main round-up events of the year took place in Municipal palace of culture, where 25 Ufa families received the keys from new flats. The housewarming party will be celebrated by eight graduates from Ufa orphanages and eighteen large families and families raising disabled children.

At the ceremony dedicated to the results of the Year of the social support for the family, President of Bashkortostan Republic Mr. Murtaza Rakhimov noted that the full-fledge support of families, parenthood and childhood is a priority for the state policy in Bashkortostan. This is testified by the dozens of modern educational and medical facilities, sports centers commissioned annually in the region. Moreover, the Republic implements various types of social support of the families, additional and supplemental to federal programs: monthly children's allowances for the disadvantaged families, target social assistance, presidential allowances for large families.

Murtaza Gubaidullovich reminded that Bashkortostan is the only region in the Russian Federation that praises mothers at such a high level. In 1998, medal of Maternity Honor was established in the republic. As of today, over 4.5 thousand mothers of large families have been awarded with it. Also, families raising nine children and more receive a minivan as a gift in our republic.

President paid a special attention to granting housing to the families that need the improvement of the living conditions – young and large families, families raising disabled children and orphans. This was highlighted at the present ceremony as well. Eight young people, raised in Ufa orphanages will remember this day forever. The brothers Rastan and Inal Tarba came to the ceremony together, they rarely separate. Now they have their own apartment. They said: “Life made us orphans, and we had nothing. Now we have received our dream and wish to thank everyone who made this possible!”

The mothers of large families that received yesterday the keys from their new apartments, had been previously awarded the Maternity Honor medal. They also expressed their gratitude to the leadership of our republic. They all mentioned that this day was a special day for their families, that it is such a happiness to receive an apartment.
