Bashkortostan’s foreign trade turnover surplus reaches one-third

Within the period of January–October this year, foreign trade turnover of Bashkortostan has exceeded the comparable level of the last year period by almost one-third and equaled to USD 7.8 billion. This was announced last Friday at the session of the board of Ministry of foreign economic relations, trade and entrepreneurship of Bashkortostan Republic.

The share of export in the foreign trade is 90 per cent, with the leading export items represented by the products of fuel and energy complex. Thus, the export of crude oil and petroleum products within the nine months of this year has reached USD 5 billion, equaling to 78 per cent of the total export.
