Pavel Kachkaev is named the Best Mayor in Russia

The All-Russia Council of Municipal Self-Governance has finalized the results of the 3rd All-Russia contest among municipal formations, with the 1st place in nomination of “The Best Head of Local Administration” awarded to Ufa Mayor Pavel Kachkaev.
The awards ceremony took place yesterday in the State Duma of the Russian Federation. Unfortunately, Mr. Kachkaev could not attend it personally due to the visit of Mr. Grigory Rapota, Plenipotentiary Representative of President of the Russian Federation in Volga Federal District to Ufa.
According to the members of evaluation committee of the contest, they had no doubts in awarding the first place in such an important nomination to Ufa Mayor – the capital of Bashkortostan is leading by numerous indices of social and economical development among Russian large cities. It is not for nothing that Ufa citizens highly evaluate their mayor – according to opinion polls, vast majority of respondents believe that Mr. Kachkaev is in the right place and successfully implements the duties of Ufa mayor.
