Joint Session of Council under Plenipotentiary Representative of Russian President in Volga Federal District and Public Council for Development of Civil Society's Institutes in Volga Federal District

On February 6th Ufa Congress Hall will host a joint session of the Council under the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga federal district and the Public Council for the Development of Civil Society's Institutes in the Volga federal district which will be chaired by Grigoriy Rapota, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga federal district. The session will be attended by heads of all regions of the Volga federal district, chief federal inspectors, and representatives of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, Federation Council, State Duma, federal and regional government authorities as well as public organizations, scientists, entrepreneurs and workers of culture.
The Council of the Volga federal district is expected to discuss possible measures on the reduction of negative impact of the global financial crisis taken in the regions of the Volga federal district. The participants will consider the current state of affairs in the banking sector, the real sector of economy including automobile industry and employment issue in the regions of the Volga federal district.
Moreover, within the framework of the Public Council for the Development of Civil Society's Institutes, a round-table meeting will take place in the conference hall of the President Hotel. The meeting will be dedicated to the topic “Public Chambers and the development of civil society's institutes in the Volga federal district: problems and prospects”.
