The historical center of Ufa has acquired an impulse to develop – Ibragimovskaya substation

The substation Ibragimovskaya (110 kilowatt) has been set in operation in Ufa lately. It is located in the historical center of Ufa – on the intersection of Gogol and Dostoevskiy streets.
The substation is of great importance to the city. It will allow realizing the program of old houses demolition and increase of electric power supply in Ufa. Besides, the business and historical center of the city will gain capacity and motivation for further development.
The decision to build substation Ibragimovskaya was taken in 2006, and 175 mln roubles were spent for this purpose. The works started in 2007 and were finished at the end of 2008. There was lack of space and time during the construction of the substation. And now, the substation occupies 2.6 thousand sq meters. The compactability of the object is achieved by exploitation of modern bexafluorated sulfur insulation equipment. If the traditional equipment had been used, the area of the substation would have increased 10 times.
OAO Bashkirenergo sets in operation new sites annually. There were built and set in operation substations Solnechnaya, Severnaya and Elektrozavodskaya in 2007 in Ufa. New substations were built in Sterlitamak and Neftekamsk. The same speed of construction was kept in 2008. The works continue this year as well.
