Last Thursday, a new Training, sports and cultural center of Republic’s organization of Russian Labor Union of Chemists was solemnly inaugurated in Ufa.
Bashkortostan companies process every eighth ton of Russian oil, produce every fifth ton of car gasoline, every sixth ton of diesel fuel. Today, we witness active modernization of existing production facilities, introduction of the newest technologies and high-tech equipment. The oil products from Bashkortostan correspond to world standards of quality and ecology.
On May 31, Russian Day of Chemist was traditionally celebrated. To these festivities, Bashkir chemists have obtained a wonderful present – a multi-function center with the total area of three thousand square meters, hosting a conference hall for 100 people, sports gym, museum of labor union movement, labor safety lab, educational rooms and even a small hospital.
Murtaza Rakhimov, President of Bashkortostan Republic, and Pavel Kachkaev, Head of Ufa Administration came to the opening ceremony to share the festive atmosphere with professionals of chemical industry.
