Construction Forum Opens in Ufa

XVI International specialized exhibition “City. Architecture and construction” opened on June 2nd, 2009 in Ufa-Arena Ice Palace. This forum has recently become an integral part of the republic’s construction industry. Despite the financial crisis, the organizers managed to gather optimists who will lead the construction sector to the levels achieved before the global crisis broke out. Together with the Minister of construction, architecture and transport of Bashkortostan Republic Mr. Ravil Ibatullin the red ribbon symbolizing the start of work was cut by the Head of Ufa City Municipal District Administration Mr. Pavel Kachkaev.
Due to the current situation, it is reasonable to turn to low-rise construction. Various designs of residential buildings have been introduced by the Ministry of construction, architecture and transport of Bashkortostan Republic and Chief Department of architecture and city planning of Ufa City Municipal District Administration. Together with an appropriate design it is possible to sel ect materials for the construction of the house straight at the exhibition site.
There are quite a number of producers at the exhibition manufacturing pre-fabricated, panel and log houses. The expositions also feature plans for development of urban and regional areas, traffic solutions, and the most interesting projects of land planning. Moreover, visitors have a great opportunity to see a wide range of products required for construction and development of construction objects such as bricks, sandwich panels, reinforced-concrete pipes, paving slabs, steel constructions etc.
According to the Deputy Head of Ufa City Municipal District Administration Mr. Rashit Sattarov, the importance and prestige of the exhibition is recognized through its participants.
