Guests from Saint-Petersburg Greatly Impressed by Ufa City

Head of Ufa City Municipal District Administration Pavel Kachkaev received a delegation from Saint-Petersburg on November 17th. The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Industry and Foreign Economic Relations of Bashkortostan Republic V.A. Yakupov, Chairman of the regional branch of the Russian public organization “Business Russia” R.M. Mardanshin, Deputy Head of Ufa City Municipal District Administration A.S.Yusupova and heads of departments of Ufa City Municipal District Administration of Bashkortostan Republic.
The main objectives of the visit were to present business opportunities of Saint-Petersburg and have a series of meetings with representatives of Bashkortostan’s business circles. Within the framework of the information and business mission "Saint-Petersburg – regions of Russia”, round-table discussions were held in the Congress Hall. They were dedicated to the issues of interregional cooperation and legislative support and protection of entrepreneurship.
The delegation headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on foreign relations of Saint-Petersburg Andrey M. Petruk included the President of the Association "Saint-Petersburg interregional information and business center” E.I. Kachaev and representatives of the city’s companies and organizations. The businessmen gave their ideas to Pavel Kachkaev on establishing close cooperation with Ufa enterprises and organizations in public utilities, urban development, hotel and information technologies sectors. Further activities in this area will be supervised by the local representative office of Saint-Petersburg interregional information and business center in Ufa
