IMAX Cinema Hall to Open in Ufa

Information Agency BashInform reports that an IMAX cinema hall will start functioning in one of Ufa cinema theaters in December. It is going to be the first cinema hall in Russia built in accordance with all standard Canadian technologies. Its construction has started on September 7th, 2009.
The theatre employees say that the IMAX cinema hall will have a huge 21-meter screen that will be able to display a whale in its actual size. A combination of amazing digital sound with a crystal-clear image and specific shape of the cinema hall will create the illusion of participation in the film.
The IMAX cinema hall will display films in classic IMAX format as well as in IMAX 3D and IMAX DMR formats.
