“Ufa” International Airport transferred into ownership of Bashkortostan

Bashinform Agency reports that Dmitriy Medvedev, President of the Russian Federation, has given directions to transfer 100 percent of federally owned “Ufa” International Airport into ownership of Bashkortostan.

The Press Service of the President of the Russian Federation reports that the aim of the ownership change is to attract investments into complex reconstruction of “Ufa” airport.

The Government of Bashkortostan Republic is to attract 24.7 billion rubles into complex reconstruction and rehabilitation of “Ufa” airport air-transport infrastructure objects, including the reconstruction of the terminal city, in accordance with the republican purpose-oriented programme on terms of public-private partnership.
