Stavropol trolley bus fleet is enlarged by Bashkir machines

Bashiform agency informs that the municipal trolley bus enterprise of Stavropol city purchased eight new trolley buses produced by OAO Bashkir Trolley Bus Plant (BTZ). They will work on route No.1. The press-service of Stavropol City Administration informs that the trolley bus fleet of the city will purchase another 54 machines by the end of the year.

The BTZ trolley bus is a new generation machine. This machine has a heavy-duty body with a 15-year guarantee as well as a high level of electrosafety. The comfort of the ride is provided by a spacious saloon, easy chairs, low noise level and good lighting of the new trolley bus.

The heating system has been upgraded by three calorifiers. There are specially equipped places for conductors of trolley buses. There is also a display screen installed in a saloon. Apart from that, the informator will inform passengers of each stop. It is noteworthy that new models of Bashkir trolley buses are energy-saving. They allow reducing the electricity bill by 10 percent compared to its old models.

There will be allocated 194.5 million rubles on conditions of co-financing for trolley bus fleet renovation of Stavropol city. This will double the number of trolley buses of the city.
