Ufa City Council Approved Most Important Documents for 2010

The City Council of Ufa City Municipal District held a regular meeting yesterday, chaired by Irek Nigmatullin.

The delegates passed two fundamental decisions: “On the budget of Ufa City for 2010” and “On the key figures of social and economic development of Ufa City for 2010 and planned periods 2011 and 2012”.

The main document “On the budget of Ufa City for 2010” was among the first to be considered. The Head of the Territorial Finance Department of the Ministry of Finance of Bashkortostan Republic, Ilgiz Nasyrtdinov, commented the main points of the budget. He pointed out that the budget preserved its social trend. The following main characteristics were approved as a result of mutual discussion: the forecasted total volume of budget revenues of the municipal district will amount next year to 8 billion 24 million 844 thousand rubles; total volume of budget expenditures of the municipal district will reach 8 billion 303 million 94 thousand rubles; the forecasted budget deficit of the municipal district will equal to 278 million 250 thousand rubles. Loans from credit institutions, budget loans granted inside the country and return of budget loans, granted to legal entities from the municipal district budget should compensate for the budget deficit.

Albina Yusupova, deputy Head of Ufa City Municipal District Administration supervising economic development, reported on the three variants of the planned Ufa City development: optimistic (if the economy fully recovers from the world financial and economic crisis), real (corresponding to the rates of growth in 2009) and pessimistic (if the economy situation will change for the worse). According to these variants, for example, the population of Ufa City in 2010 will amount to 1,032,490 – 1,030,235 people or 1,028,170 in the worst case scenario. There will be occupied 483,258, 482,243 and 481,277 people correspondingly in the city economy.
