ANK “Bashneft” starts trading at Inter-Regional Oil and Gas Complex Exchange

OAO “ANK “Bashneft” starts trading at Inter-Regional Oil and Gas Complex Exchange (MBNK) in “oil products” category.

The company obtained accreditation of the oil and gas complex exchange participant and declared its readiness to start trading at the exchange after finishing several technical matters.

ANK “Bashneft” is planning to sell more than two thousand tons of oil products, such as Premium-95, Regular-92, Normal-80 and winter diesel fuel at the trading session that is to take place today on December 21st.
The company is going to increase the volumes of oil products, sold at the exchange in the long term.

According to Director General of OAO ANK “Bashneft” Victor Horoshavtsev the exchange is primarily essential because public price indicators are formed here. We consider this tool as one of the marketing channels. Despite the small sales volume of oil products at the exchange, we consider it as an important tool for oil products market, as it creates conditions of a greater information disclosure and transparency of the Russian oil products market.

The press-service of ANK “Bashneft” informs that the company is preparing documents to obtain accreditation of the St. Petersburg International Commodity Exchange participant.
