OAO “UMPO” redeemed a bonded loan

OAO “Ufa Engine-building Production Association” has redeemed bonds to the amount of four billion rubles and paid 244.3 billion rubles in discharge of the last sixth coupon. AKP “Rosbank” (OAO) appeared as a paying agent.

The placement of the second issue of ruble bonds of OAO “UMPO” at the MICEX Stock Exchange took place on December 21st 2006. The volume of the placed bonded loan amounted to four billion rubles. OAO “MDM-Bank” and OAO AKB “Evrofinans Mosnarbank” made all arrangements for this placement.

According to the press-service of UMPO, the company spent the funds from loan placement for development and exploration of new challenging products, financing of technical production re-equipping program and loan portfolio restructuring.
