The Bashkir-Bulgarian Friendship Society also strives to develop tourist relations between the Urals and the Balkans. Among other things, the establishment of regular international flights from Ufa to Burgas will enable Ufa dwellers to travel into Bulgaria with no need of transferring. The first flight is scheduled to take place on July 6. Its first passengers will have their Bulgarian visas arranged for free as a present from the organizers. The society has long-term plans for a number of other cultural events.
